Hawaii here we come!!
We have finally booked our cruise to Hawaii!! I can't even tell you how thrilled I am to finally get to go. A lot of you have heard me talk (ok...whine) about this for a long time and we've finally made the leap.
We are going in May 2009 on Norwegian Cruise Lines Pride of America. We are booked as a group through American Express Travel and EVERYONE is invited. The more people that come, the cheaper it is for everyone in the group, not to mention how fun it will be when we are all surrounded by friends and family in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
We decided to spend a little extra money and get a balcony cabin so that we can sit out there and relax while sailing around the islands of Hawaii. We also chose cabins on the back of the ship (deck 7) so that we are able to see both sides. We have heard that you can see valcanos from the ship at night so we wanted to be sure we'd have a good view. Here is a picture of the room and the floorplan:

Oh sounds lovely. We would love to go assuming there's some miracle fix to our economy over the next few months which will result in some extra spending money. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
