A day of service

It makes me so proud when our kids decide to help others. Trevor decided he was going to be helpful and mow the neighbors lawn while she was at work. She is single and is not home much so I was so proud of him for doing this.

He is growing up so fast. He turns 10 in a couple of weeks. Keep up the good work Trev, you make Dad and I so proud!

Todd, Mary, Kelsey, Kenadee and Jessie came over for dinner a little later (Kayla is camping with some family at the Palisades). Mary made her famous Chicken Enchiladas. They are so yummy!

Jessie decided to come home from Texas a couple of weeks ago. Todd flew down there and they drove back together (what a good uncle he is!). Jessie hasn't washed her car since that VERY LONG trip. Needless to say the front end of her car is one big sea of BUGS!. We were all sitting outside teasing Jessie about how dirty her car was so the kids decided to wash it for her. It was really cute watching them try to so hard to do their best. We rewarded the kids with RBFs (this is what we call rootbeer floats in our house). Great job kids and welcome back Jessie!
