Memorial Day

We started off the day by sleeping in. We had such an action packed weekend that the kids had not been to bed before 11pm all weekend. We actually slept in until 9:30...that is a miracle in our house!!

After finally rolling out of bed we headed out to Tooele to see Eric's Dad and Grandma. We had a yummy lunch with them and then headed over to visit Grandpas grave. We left our flowers and love but didn't forget to snap some pictures. All of the great-granchildren have started a tradition of painting rocks and leaving them on the headstone. I don't think you can see them in this picture very well but it is a fun tradition.

















Next we headed back to the big city and went to my Grandpa and Grandma Mullins grave. It was absolutely POURING rain by this time but we didn't let that stop us. We left them some flowers and lots of love while snapping some more picutres. I can't beleive it has been 10 years since my Grandma Mullins passed away. We love and miss the family that has passed on before us!





















As if we hadn't had enough fun for the day....we were passing by the Living Planet Aquarium and thought it would be fun to go...so we did :) Here are some pics from that as well. I tried to fix the red eye in this photo but Adobe wasn't cooperating with me and I gave up...imagine that :)
