Calling all Costco members....

Who doesn't like free money in these rough economic times? I know I do and I'm even willing to spend a little bit of time to earn it. I even love sharing these opportunities with my friends and family so here you go!

I got an email from Costco last week with this amazing offer. You can earn either $70 (for regular Costco or Business Members) or $90 (for Executive Members) for each member of your family by opening a Sharebuilder account using this link. There is no benefit to me if you join...only to you :) I opened 6 different accounts (one for each member in our family) and because we are Executive Members (because we spend so much stinkin' money at Costco) I will earn $540!!

You do have to purchase a stock to get the money but this is easy to do. I bought a single share of my previous employers stock using the "Automatic Investing" for under $0.50. In order to get around paying the $4 stock trading fee I took advantage of the free trial of their "Standard Pricing Program" which offers 6 free automatic investments per month. Once you buy the stock, the promotional money will be deposited into your account and is yours to do whatever you'd like with. Once they deposit the money into your Sharebuilder account, you transfer your balance to your linked account and that's it. You also now own a single share of stock that you can decide what you'd like to do with.
