We started off Friday night by going to dinner at Baja Cantina at the Park City Ski Resort. The food wasn't as good as I remembered when Eric and I went there back in the good 'ole dating days. I think that had a lot to do with the number in our party and the fact that 4 of them were under the age of 9. The kids had a great laugh when they sang to me and made me wear the HUGE sombrero I'm sporting in the scanned Polaroid that the waitress gave us.
We couldn't leave without going to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where they kids all got a caramel apple.
After dinner we headed over to the Black Diamond Lodge in Deer Valley to spend the night. Eric's boss owns a condo there as their "vacation home" and was kind enough to let us stay. It's a good thing he is so kind because we can't afford to pay the going rate :) We spent lots of time relaxing and soaking in the hot tub.
On Saturday we got up and relaxed some more. We snapped a family picture by the fireplace so that we could send the Castleman's a Thank You card from Shutterfly (I love Shutterfly!).
Then we decided to head over to the outlet malls in Park City to do a little shopping. The kids didn't enjoy that very much but I sure did!
