OUCH continued

The Labor Day weekend proved to be a great time for most. We went up to Eric's parents for the weekend. They live near Mirror Lake. The boys spent a lot of time riding 4 wheelers and piling up dead trees to clean up the property. I spent a lot of time on the couch with my foot propped up trying to get the swelling in my toe to go down. I thought it was getting better but boy was I wrong! It was SO swollen not to mention the nasty colors it was turning. By the time we got home on Sunday I was in so much pain. I decided to give in and go to InstaCare. They ended up putting 2 holes in my toenail to relieve the pressure. I thought for sure that I was going to pass out but I was tough and made it through. The doc said that I would most likely lose my nail within the next week or so.

I'm officially joining the M.U.T club (Mullins Ugly Toe). We welcome new members at any time. We have a great support group with free advice on ways to cover your toe in the most fashionable ways :)
